Sailing Taster Sessions – exploring the beauty of Ullswater from a new perspective whilst learning a new skill.

Have you ever fancied just ‘giving it a go’ without wanting to commit to a 2 day sailing course, or maybe you haven’t sailed for a while and would appreciate a little tuition to help you get back on the water? Our Sailing Taster Sessions offer you the perfect opportunity to do just that. 

The Glenridding Sailing Centres’ gently curved beach forms a sheltered bay in full view of the centre, providing an ideal setting to teach everyone from complete beginners to experienced sailors wishing to perfect their skills.

You can choose from either slow and steady, like our beautiful Traditional Boats you can see here – perfect for families – or fast and (potentially!) wet dinghy sailing!

Our Taster Sessions are run by experienced and friendly Instructors, who will pitch the session at your level. Booking essential and children under the age of 6 go free.
